Saeid Shanbehzadeh: Dance Workshop

The current DAAD Arts & Media Fellow, Saeid Shanbehzadeh, invites you to a three-day dance workshop at daadgalerie. For experienced dancers and beginners alike, this workshop is a great opportunity to expand their movement vocabulary and immerse themselves in a beautiful part of Iranian heritage. Shanbehzadeh is a prominent expert and educator of southern Iranian music and dance traditions and has been working tirelessly and enthusiastically for decades to preserve them from extinction and pass on his knowledge.

Workshop elements:
● Learning the basic movements of these ancient dances
● Immerse yourself in the rich rhythms that define the music and culture
● Discovering the stories and history behind these living traditions

The workshop takes place over three days for two hours each at daadgalerie. It is also possible to attend only individual days.
