From 3 to 12 September 2026, Berlin will be transformed into a hub of international contemporary literature for the 26th time. Under the motto “You are born with your face turned everywhere”, the International Literature Festival Berlin (ILB) brings together established and emerging voices from many regions of the world. The festival program, featuring a stellar line-up, addresses social debates and, for the first time on a large scale, celebrates the connection between literature, music, performance and dance. Among those taking part are the current DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program Fellows Vanessa Onwuemezi and Carlos Soto Román, as well as alumni Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor and Logan February.
