Nicolás Sánchez aka Nyksan is a Bogotá-born, London-based sound artist and producer who leans toward the adventurous end of the sonic spectrum. He works primarily with mutant electronics, bass technologies, ambient music, drone and experimental sound practices.

Under the Colombian Drone Mafia moniker, his work focuses on the intersection of synthesis and field recordings, creating immersive sonic spaces that operate between unconventional and primitive structures. His compositions weave through atonal layers of texture and timbre, generating a constant tension between memory and dream territories.

He is also the co-founder of TraTraTrax, a key Latin American label and platform dedicated to amplifying cutting-edge electronic music erupting from Sur América and the Global South.
