    2023, Monograph

This first monograph of Cuevas’ work brings together a wide selection of projects across a variety of media dating back to the 1990s. Among the central topics she has addressed in her practice are the commodification of natural resources, the social and environmental consequences of climate change, and the neoliberal mechanism of power that exists in both private and public spheres. The publication is intended as a research tool to navigate these themes in her work through diverse and flexible interpretations.

Edited by Melanie Roumguière from Berliner Künstlerprogramm des DAAD, Berlin, and released by RM Publishing, this publication contains texts by Patrick Charpenel, Director of El Museo del Barrio, New York; Esther Gabara, Associate Professor of Romance Studies and Art, Art History and Visual Studies at Duke University; and Francis McKee, Director of the CCA Glasglow and Professor at the Glasgow School of Art.
