Green Papaya invites Hà Nội-based project space and art collective ba-bau AIR to take part in its residency with the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program. This collaboration between Green Papaya and ba-bau AIR aims to encourage collectivity and networking among similar initiatives in Southeast Asia. Interdisciplinary artist Kieu-Anh and filmmaker Duy Anh from ba-bau AIR will be present in Berlin to operationalise the space of daadgalerie, bringing with them and honouring the intangibility of their craft and culture. During the takeover over several days, ba-bau AIR will occupy the exhibition space with a series of personal and collective practices from home via intimate screenings, talks and moving image-related public programming.

Green Papaya is awarded a collective grant thanks to a cooperation with the Matschinksy-Denninghoff Foundation under the umbrella of Berlinische Galerie.
