To mark the 60th anniversary of its founding, on October 12 from 6:30 pm on, the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program is inviting its fellows and alumni, along with artists, cultural practitioners, and the Berlin audience to an evening of celebration at Akademie der Künste, Hanseatenweg 10.
The focus of this special event is on the here and now: reflecting on the time we live in; enjoying the interplay of words, sounds, and images; and appreciating moments of encounter and the freedom of form.

A celebration with contributions by Swetlana Alexijewitsch, Jay Bernard, Merche Blasco, Zoncy Heavenly, MADEYOULOOK, Nguyễn + Transitory, Matana Roberts, Sam Vernon & Mixtape Ménage
