Chude-Sokei

Louis Chude-Sokei is the author of several award-winning books, including The Sound of Culture: Diaspora and Black Technopoetics (2016). He is editor-in-chief of The Black Scholar journal, director of African American Studies at Boston University, and founder of the sound art / archive project Echolocution. During his stay in Berlin, Louis Chude-Sokei exchanged views on artificial intelligence in sound cultures with artist, activist, and researcher Toni Lester and musician and sound researcher Jan St. Werner (Mouse On Mars, fiepbaltter catalogue) as part of a public discussion at the daadgalerie.
