The festival singuhr XXX celebrates the 30th anniversary of singuhr and connects key venues for sound art across the city. Participating artists include collaborators of singuhr, among them numerous fellows and companions of the Berlin Artists-in-Program. The program features sound installations by Bernhard Leitner (Fellow 1982) at the Parochialkirche and Akio Suzuki (Fellow 1994) in public space, as well as two days of concerts and performances by Paul DeMarinis (Fellow 2009), Max Eastley (Fellow 2017), Sam Auinger (Fellow 1997), and others at Villa Elisabeth and the Kuppelhalle at silent green. On Sunday, 31 May, a matinee on sound spaces in Berlin will take place at the daadgalerie, featuring talks and discussions. Speakers include Helga de la Motte-Haber, Janina Klassen, Susanne Binas-Preisendörfer, Volker Straebel, Jan Thoben, Nika Schmitt, and Carsten Seiffarth.
