With Claudia Rankine
As part of the exhibition For Real for Real, authors Raphaëlle Red and Melanie Jame Wolf will read their texts from Delfi, Magazine for New Literature, and Claudia Rankine will read from her unpublished manuscript. Afterwards, they will engage in a conversation with moderator Enrico Ippolito about the literary practice of working with biographies.
The event will be held in English.
Raphaëlle Red, born in Paris in 1997, grew up in Berlin, where she still lives today. Her debut novel Adikou was published in 2024 in the original French as well as in a German translation by Patricia Klobusiczky, developed in close collaboration with the author, by Rowohlt.
Melanie Jame Wolf is a visual artist, writer, performer, and choreographer. Wolf has exhibited at the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Kunstmuseum Basel, and the New Australian Art Biennial.
Enrico Ippolito is a writer, journalist, and co-editor of Delfi, Magazine for New Literature. His debut novel Was rot war (What Was Red) was published in 2021 and was nominated for the Rauris Literature Prize. In recent years, he has published several short stories. His second novel Modesta will be published in fall 2025 by Korbinian Verlag.
