The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program and Sonorous Cities (SONCITIES) present Energies. Following Concrete Dreams of Sound in spring 2024, Energies brings together sonic artists, theorists and architects to explore acoustic energies at daadgalerie and rethink sound and architecture, pulling them into a shared space of inchoateness, in states of tension and conversion. In conversations, listening sessions, screenings and workshops around themes of vibrational architectures, energetic and urban infrastructure, and the violent energies of harm and alarm, we will tune into the state between the solid and the fluid, the fixed and the elusive, and the material and the immaterial that the energetic pulls us into.
