Artist Talk: Ting-Jung Chen and Salomé Voegelin

The artist Ting-Jung Chen will be in conversation with sound researcher and writer Salomé Voegelin about the production of the Booklet accompanying the exhibition Here on the Edge of the Sea We Sit. They connected through their shared commitment to the transdisciplinary potential of sound as a response to ecological and socio-political issues. The fragments of text, written by Voegelin add another layer of fluidity to the collected images Chen found during her research on political speeches and their rhetoric which assumes to speak to people and to speak for them.
