The opening concert of Ultraschall 2013 featuring Clara Iannotta and Arthur Kampela
Clara Iannotta begins her one year stay in Berlin at the Ultraschall Festival with the composition »d’après« (2012). Compositionally, it is close to the French language and recognizes sound as a living organism from pitch, tone quality and harmony.
Arthur Kampela’s large ensemble piece »Antropofagia« gives us an idea of the rhythmic complexity and explosive tonality of the boundless wealth of the Brazilian rainforest.
