Ralitza Petrova will also present a film that influenced her development as an artist:

4 by Ilya Khrzhanovsky (Russia 2004)
After making a number of short films, Bulgarian filmmaker Ralitza Petrova (b. 1976) created in 2016 her first feature-length film BEZBOG / GODLESS (Bulgaria/DK/F), which won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival. Gana, a caregiver, sells the stolen IDs of her elderly patients. She performs her work mechanically and in silence; her face is devoid of emotion. Only an encounter with a musician reveals her emotional neediness. With exacting imagery and atmospheric density, GODLESS raises existential questions about human nature. Ralitza Petrova will also present a film that influenced her development as an artist: 4 by Ilya Khrzhanovsky (Russia 2004), which begins with a conversation in a bar and turns into a nightmarish journey straight to hell
