Kateřina Šedá’s work starts from the observation of complex social structures. She enters into these, making use of the participation of the persons she observes in the creation of an artistic work. Her medium is photography or video, with which certain interventions are documented. For the work titled "It doesn't matter", S?dá asked her grandmother, who worked her entire life as a salesperson in a grocery store, to draw from memory all the objects that were for sale there. This generated a body of work consisting of 600 drawings.
